What is it with the sudden influx of homophobes onto LJ? Fermatojam, and Killiganhashope, and now epicyclical reports an exchange of e-mails with one who apparently managed not to know that Ian McKellen is gay. Doesn't everybody know that?

It has been brought to my attention that I didn't phrase the above paragraph very well. It wasn't the not knowing that made Cassie's e-mailer a homophobe. It was more her reaction to Cassie's suggestion that he is gay. Click on the link to her journal and all will become clear.

There was a rumour doing the rounds a while back, attributed to Dom himself (although I'd take that with a hefty pinch of salt) that Merry and Pippin will kiss in RotK...
