Fred has been in love with Angelina since he was fifteen. If he was ever called upon to produce a Patronus, he knows his happy memory would be asking her to the Yule Ball.
He'd been so nervous. He'd put off asking her for as long as possible, until long after George had asked Alicia and she'd agreed. He was finally pushed into action by Ron asking who he was going with. He could hardly tell his little brother he didn't have a date, so he said "Angelina" without even thinking about it.
He's just glad she said yes. How embarrassing would it have been otherwise?

Percy met Penelope in the library: the place you'd expect to meet a Ravenclaw, really. It took him a week to work up the courage to talk to her, and then it was only to ask for help with his Arithmancy homework.
It was Penelope who finally got tired of waiting, and asked him out. He was so surprised he almost said "no". Fortunately, he got control of his voice just in time, and said "of course I will".
She turned out not to be a stereotypical stuffy Ravenclaw at all. Oh no, Penny was much more adventurous than that.

"What am I going to do, Justin? What if she says no?"
"She won't. I *told* you that she told me she likes you. Now, go up to the dorm and wait there. I'll go and get her, and we'll soon see what she'll say."
"Justin, no, wait, don't, that's too embarr-"
"Go!"
Ernie went. Twenty minutes later, the door opened and a rather confused Hannah was shoved inside. Then Ernie heard the key turning in the lock.
"JUSTIN!"
His only response was evil laughter - was Susan out there too? - and Justin's voice calling through the door.
"You're not getting out until Susan and I hear you ask her. So get on with it!"
Ernie turned to Hannah and shrugged. Better do as they said…
