Milliwaysers - I'm giving up crackchat for a while, to see if going without that distraction will give me back my interest in the game. I think it might even already be working. I'm still pingable if any of you want me.

On another subject - travel plans! For July-August, specifically.

I will almost certainly be in Chicago from July 19-22, then San Diego July 26-29, and Toronto August 3-6 (yes, Dexcon folks, I plan on joining you this year). Obviously, this gives me three or four days free between the first two stops, and four or five more between the second and third.

I'm not booking tickets yet until I get confirmation of dates for the Chicago thing, but... anyone want visits?

SanD is about a 2 hour drive (max) from my place east of LA. I'll have to check with family, but I've had 'wacky internet stalkers' stay here before, so if you want to look at arriving here a day or two early?

weee. And my dad even suggests you see about coming up from SanD on the coastal train. Up to you- I can check times and costs for that. (Sheesh. I might even take it down there to pick you up, and ride back.)

Just a heads up, since it's slain just about every other non-North American type. Toronto is absurdly HOT and humid in August. (To the point that *I* am not happy in that weather sometimes and I am most comfortable in 80 and up, and I kinda like 90-100 degree weather.)

It's not like San Diego was last year. San Diego was temperate Toronto is like walking around in a steam bath.

Oh! Yeah, that's right, you were in DC last summer. Toronto Weather = DC weather, basically, with some variance in heat/humidity, but not much.

To give you some idea of -my- opinion of the weather? San Diego is a little cool for me. DC summers are a touch too warm. Toronto has been hit or miss. Either I'm basking in gloriously humid air like some kind of demented jungle lizard, or I'm wilting like everyone else.

I did manage to survive DC, with the help of lots of water and frequent breaks for air-conditioning. ;) And seeing the Dexcon peoples will make up for any problems with the weather.
