Andrew has survived longer than he ever thought he would; longer than he should have, maybe. And now, after all the years and all the demons, he's dying quietly in his bed, the last of the Scoobies. Ironic, that he should have outlived all the others.
He hears a small noise and looks over at the steps leading upstairs. (Andrew can no longer manage the climb.) And he sees them: Jonathan, smiling in forgiveness; Warren, the way he was before all the bad stuff; Anya, beckoning impatiently.
And Andrew knows. They waited, and they've come back for him at last.
