It's the one discussed in the next entry down on my page, the idea that Andy put into my head. I've got a basic plot laid out: Mystique never drops Kurt over the waterfall, and she keeps him to raise properly.

No Magneto or Xavier (haven't quite worked out why) or not in any significant sense, anyway. I was thinking a kind of Ocean's 11/Robin Hood thing, with Mystique and Kurt, once he's grown up, recruiting other mutants (including some familiar faces) to help them rob banks and/or rich anti-mutant people, and use the money to help other mutants.

And this all came from one throwaway comment of andylou's that Kurt and Mystique would make cool bank robbers. My brain works in strange ways, sometimes. So, what do you think?

Oh yeah, and at the end I thought I'd kill Mystique, and have Kurt decide to keep on as they had been doing, with the surviving team to help him.

Things you need to know: Mystique is, on all the available evidence from the comics, Kurt's mother. And when I mentioned dropping Kurt over the waterfall, above, I meant baby Kurt.
