Oliver and Katie have been dating since she left Hogwarts. They liked each other before that, but with one thing and another, Oliver had never quite got it together to ask her out.
He's rectified that now though, and tonight, they are attending the official Quidditch League Ball. Unfortunately, they have just run into Draco Malfoy, who's somehow managed to become a professional Quidditch player. Oliver's never liked the little bastard, but he has to be nice to him in public, or his father will make trouble.
"Wood."
"Malfoy. So, no Parkinson tonight? Who's your new da - Hermione Granger?!"
