Since it was agreed yesterday in the meeting that you would no longer be working for Carlos, I’d like to come over to collect any outstanding work for Carlos et al.

Would 1000 be ok?

Me: Sorry, I left at 4.30 yesterday! I’m just going to pop over to take Miss Mills her clinic notes for the day, but I’ll be back by about 10.15 and here all day after that.

Does this mean I’m still working for the company?
