Yesterday, he hits me with two procedures to be organised for today. Minor procedures, but they still need theatre booking and an anaesthetist finding and all the usual things. I am efficient super-PA and get it done before the end of the day.
Today, I get a confused phone call from his favourite anaesthetist going "You emailed me saying you didn't need me for those procedures... but George and I worked it out last night that I'd do it... ????"
Did he tell me he was going to arrange the anaesthesia himself? Did he call me when he'd worked it out to tell me not to worry about it or to cancel the people I'd found? Did he hell.
I love my job. I do. But I'm going to kill him.
