Happy birthday, Aspen!

The interview went okay, I think. I know I did well on the test part, but I tend to suck at talking to people I don't know, so I'm never sure how well I've done on the actual interview part where you have to make them want to employ you. I wish interviews were more about proving your competence, not trying to make people believe it verbally. I should hear back by the end of the week, beginning of next, they said, so I guess we'll see.

And now, a meme, gacked from Miche, Ramen and Debi, in successive posts on my flist.

We all have things about our friends that make us slightly envious. Not in a bad way, but in a 'Wow! I wish I had that person's hair/eyes/money/relationship/toenails/whatever.' So tell me what about me makes you envy me. . . then post this in your LJ and see what makes me envious of you.

I'm slowly realising that all but... like, three of my RP characters are on some level crazy. And of those three, one is a twelve-year-old dead-and-resurrected boy wizard and one is the widowed father of two teenage girls who have a high probability of dying young through being wizards too. So I'm not entirely sure of their underlying mental health either. Functional, all of them, but every one has some kind of worrying issue.

(The other is King Lune of Archenland. He's sane. I think.)
