Jul. 29th, 2003 02:34 pmDoes anyone know of any well-written stories concerning Sam, Frodo or Gimli after they arrive in Valinor? Especially ones where they die?
A lot of authors seem to forget that while Valinor is an intrinsically healing place, just being there is not enough to make you immortal. Therefore, Sam, Frodo, and Gimli, the only three mortals ever to Sail, would eventually die. Has this ever been tackled in fic?
