What is it with the sudden influx of homophobes onto LJ? Fermatojam, and Killiganhashope, and now ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
epicyclical reports an exchange of e-mails with one who apparently managed not to know that Ian McKellen is gay. Doesn't everybody know that?
It has been brought to my attention that I didn't phrase the above paragraph very well. It wasn't the not knowing that made Cassie's e-mailer a homophobe. It was more her reaction to Cassie's suggestion that he is gay. Click on the link to her journal and all will become clear.

i bought 'gods and monsters' back in high school and used to watch it for to see the glory of the mckellen.
i am going to BE that fabulous old fairy someday. you will see me and say 'golly, check out that fabulous old fairy. just like ian mckellen!'
