Title: Mardi Gras, New Orleans Style
Character: Oz
In New Orleans, there’s a local tradition that the werewolves come out to dance at Bayou Goula, once a month when the moon is full.
It’s not true, of course. But it’s a nice story, and it helps to bring in a certain class of tourist. The people of New Orleans take full advantage of this, especially at Mardi Gras. They dress up and dance through the carnival, wanting nothing more than a good time.
The dancers never dream that the slight young man in their midst, with the sad, haunted eyes, knows more about werewolves than they ever will.
