Remiel wishes Duma would speak to him.
It gets so lonely, in Hell, with only the damned and the demons to talk to. And after all, they are no longer really the servants of God, are they?
But no. Duma holds to his vow.
And even when the frustration gets too much, when Remiel is driven to seize Duma's shoulders and kiss him none too gently, even then Duma keeps his silence.
He does not resist, or respond. He does not protest, or encourage. But when Remiel pushes him away, there is always one single tear on Duma's perfect cheek.
