Things that should not feature in reception/secretarial work in an orthopaedic department:

Persuading tiny distraught toddlers that they really want to come out from under the chairs. Even if their mum has temporarily disappeared.

My shoulder is still damp.

since having a toddler myself, I have learned just to leave her under the chair until she will come out on her own... *winks*
